Quick-drilling alignment techniques for uniform door and drawer pull installations.
Set up a hardware mounting jig with exact center-to-center hole spacing (e.g., 96mm, 128mm, 160mm) to ensure batch consistency.
Clamp jig tightly against door or drawer face. Drill from front to back using sharp 3/16" wood bits to prevent finish tear-out.
Choose 1" truss screws for single panel doors, or break-away 1-3/4" screws for double-walled drawer fronts.
Tighten fasteners with hand screwdrivers to avoid stripping brass or zinc threads inside pull posts.
